William Willoughby, 6th Baron Willoughby of Parham

William Willoughby, 6th Lord Willoughby (c.1616 – 10 April 1673) was an English peer of the House of Lords.[1]

He married Anne daughter of Sir Philip Carey of Stanwell or Hunslet (10 June 1615 to 12 January 1671). [2] During his life he was Governor of the Caribee Islands, today known as the Caribbean. William Willoughby succeeded to the title and the hereditary peerage and seat in the House of Lords, the upper house of Parliament on the death in 1666 of his brother Francis Willoughby, 5th Lord Willoughby of Parham who had died without male heirs of his body.[2]
